3. Diverse Backgrounds in the Wedding Industry

One of our favorite things about the Driftwood team is the variety of experience each planner brings to the table. Every one of our lead planners had experience in the wedding industry long before they laced up their black tennis shoes, giving our couples a well-rounded perspective throughout the planning process.

Our founder, Paige, spent nearly five years working in event management before launching her own company in 2020 and growing it into Driftwood Event Planning. Maddie has been with Paige since the very beginning and not only brings years of hands-on planning experience, but also studied event planning through college courses. Abby previously worked as a wedding photographer, while Monica came from a background in floral wholesale and grew up with a wedding planner for a mom. Roxy, owns her own bakery and spent years creating wedding desserts before dawning a black blazer.

Because of these diverse backgrounds, our team is able to approach weddings from multiple perspectives and support every detail with intentionality, creativity, and experience.

Our team regularly keeps up with current trends, tours venues throughout the region, and participates in wedding professional groups to continue building strong partnerships within both the wedding industry and our local community. Our fearless leader Paige has also created extensive guides, resources, and planning systems for our team to use, allowing us to answer your questions quickly, confidently, and accurately throughout the planning process.
